In the end, I got to write another poem, that fits today's prompt. So here goes...

I hunger for your peace,

Your warmth,

Your care.

I yearn for the safety

Procured by your arms.

I ache for the desire

Etched in your eyes

I long to cuddle up,

Lose myself in your love,

Let it permeate my body,

My soul.

I miss how

You make me feel

Alive.
