Welcome

Grab a cup of tea or coffee (oh what the heck, get a danish too!) and sit a spell. You might want to grab your notebook and pen because you never know when you will be inspired to write down a quote, or jot down a poem of your own. Words are like that, they take you on a journey and the next thing you know you are breathing life into your own magical world of words.

Groups and Badges

I often attend and participate in many groups, too many to post on my main pages. I decided to create a separate page for them where you can find out more about them. If you have a question about any of these groups regarding my experience of them, you can ask in the comment section below or email me at morgan underscore dragonwillow at hotmail dot com.

A wonderful challenge for the month of April. It is one of the largest challenges I have seen so far. I am going to do my best to post a blog every day for this one. Join me and let's have some fun!

This is a new site that has begun its first two week challenge. I have only had time for one post for their prompts but I like what I see. I also like that their challenges are only two weeks at a time. If you want a daily prompt site but don't want to participate for an extended time period, group this would be a great place to start.

Trifecta is a little different because it is actually a contest not just a challenge which means that at the end of the time period for the writing prompt, they go to every post that has been submitted, leave a comment, then decide who has the best post for their prompt. They name the top three posts. If you like a challenge with a possibility of being in the top three, this would be a good place to check out.

This is a wonderful writing group that goes for a stretch of 80 days at a time. They have twice weekly check ins/goals that you would post to your blog that is accountability without the judgement. You can gain a lot of support and encouragement from this group.

I haven't attended much of this, it seems like a wonderful community filled with writing prompts, tips for writing and so much more. I believe it is a women's writing community that sometimes invites men to share their writing from their prompts.

My friend Shah runs this wonderful Weekend Creation Blog Hop that if you like sharing your links and visiting others this is a great place to check out. She also is the owner of I'm a StoryTeller below.

There are writing prompts once a week that are often delightful to write for. It is a smaller challenge and she does give a Featured Story at the end of the week.

This is an accounting of the words that you do every day. It is based on the premise that if you write 500 words per day you will have 183,000 words by the end of the year. I signed up for this but I am bad about updating my word count. They also have other challenges going on such as Menage Monday, a flash fiction challenge that can be fun.

If you have other writing groups, challenges and contests that you enjoy participating in please share in the comments below.

  1. If the player’s hand is worth 5 or less, one other card is added. When it’s equal to 6 or extra, the player stands, whereas the supplier stands with 6 but 까모벳 takes one other card with 5 or less. As soon because the bets are decided by Aussies, two playing cards are given to members .
