Why is it that we are so hesitant to claim our strengths?

I think that part of the reason we are hesitant to claim our strengths is because when something comes rather easily to us, we don't value it as much as we would if we struggled for it.
ReplyDeleteIn my case, when something is easy for me, I assume that it's easy for everyone else, and - therefore - no big deal.

Thank you Tui. Many things have come easy to me and I am sure that is why I don't think of them as strengths. What is interesting though is art and creativity have been a long journey. I thought I wasn't creative at all. When things began to open to me creatively, I finally learned to fly.
