My partner mostly placates my love of romantic comedies but really, most of them she can't stand. She would rather watch action adventure, some horror, paranormal, or just about anything that is intense.
Even my own daughter, who is straight mind you, doesn't care much for romantic comedies. They both groan, "Not again..." whenever it is time for me to choose a movie.
I thought this one was cute but my family disagreed. |
So if you know of any good Romantic Comedies, please share. Maybe I won't have to inflict so many of the B movies on my family. Hah, yes I will.
Visit the other Written Confessions and leave your word love in the comments. Or maybe you would like to join this blog hop and write your own confession...
P.S. This confession was to be about writing but I write so much about that on my blog I couldn't think of anything that I hadn't already confessed to on writing.
Not romantic comedies! NOOOO! Well, I don't mind romantic comedies if they are books, but I tend to stay away from the movies.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the hop. =D
Hehehe! I know right. Thanks for stopping by and sharing word love!
DeleteMy favorite all time Rom/Com is "My Girlfriend's Boyfreind"
ReplyDeleteI love that movie! It was one I discovered on Netflix on one of my endless searches for romantic comedies! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteFor some reason, I have no problem imagining you torturing innocent people with romantic comedies. I haven't the slightest clue why because I don't know you personally. :P It makes for a good super power, though. You already have Patricia cowering in fear of your might!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
It seems you are getting to know me rather well in the short time we've known each other. I am sure that we will get to know each other even better over time. Thanks for the chuckles!

Morgan
I love romantic comedies too! My boys cringe as well when I pick one although sometimes we find middle ground like The Ugly Truth, we all like that one. I'm also up for a good paranormal, slice off your head kick ass movie as well!
ReplyDeleteJai calls me well rounded as far as movies go.
Rik says I'm diverse.
And Ryan says I'm bipolar.
I love The Ugly Truth! I thought it was hilarious! Thanks for sharing what your family thinks of your romantic comedy habit. I am good with kick ass movies as long as they have a splash of funny in them such as Lethal Weapon or Die Hard.

Well you've your partner and occasionally daughter... I've all three... all the time... ALL THE TIME!!!!!!! And I'm out voted most of the time unless I pout and make some serious happenings happen.
DeleteI surprisingly get my way a lot but I try to compromise on occasion. ;P
DeleteThe jury's still out on whether I like Rom Coms. I will watch certain ones but I don't go out of my way to watch them. But then again, I rarely go out of my way to watch anything if it doesn't immediately grab my interest.
ReplyDeleteI guess I am just a sucker for a happy ending where the love birds come together and I am always wanting movies to make me laugh. Thanks for stopping by and sharing word love!
DeletePeace,
Morgan
It is her super power, I alway say if there is a B rom comm out there she will find it. I have to admit though some of them are good movies.
